SEVEN CARD STUD POKER

In Seven Card Stud Poker, each player is dealt two cards face down and one card face up. The player with the low card opens the betting. Each player in turn either calls, raises, or folds, depending on how strong their hand looks like.

Another card is then dealt face up in front of each player still in the hand. This process happens two more times so that every player still in the hand has two cards face down, four face up, and then a final card face down in front of them.

The players that bet or called bets all the way to the last card then show their three face down cards to reveal their hand. The best five card hand then wins the pot. The pot in stud poker can get pretty high since players are betting on each deal.
